i ordered from thecostumeshoppe.com and had to keep emailing them just to find out what was going on with my refund. it really felt like nothing was being handled unless i kept pushing for answers. the whole thing took way longer than it should have, and the replies i got were vague. not a great experience, and i don’t think i’d order from them again

I was kinda hoping there’d be more accessories, but the selection felt limited. I found a couple things that were okay, but not really enough to pull my whole costume together. Ended up having to look elswhere to finish it.

I had a frustrating experience here. I asked the staff a few basic questions, but it felt like I was interrupting them more than anything. They didn’t really help much, and even the email responses later felt like they were written by robots instead of actual people. It made the whole shopping experience way more annoying than it needed to be.

It ended up arriving later than expected, and I didn’t really get any useful updates along the way. By the time it got here, it had already kind of messed up the whole thing.

I ordered a costume and followed their size chart carefully, even measured myself twice just to be safe. Somehow it still showed up way too tight around the waist and arms, but the legs were oddly long, so the fit just felt completely off.

The tracking barely changed for days, and I kept checking it thinking maybe it would suddenly move, but it just sat there.
By the time the costume finally arrived, the event had already passed, so it was basically useless to me. I still like some of their stuff and part of me wants to give them another chance, but if I’m ordering for a specific date, I’d be nervous about using them again
